Join us for a conversation led by Communal Discernment STL about the discussions in our global Church during the ongoing Synod. Topics to include:
- documents from the Synod
- roles of women in the Church
- St. Phoebe Day in St. Louis and at St. Margaret’s
- how to follow their discussions and share your thoughts
This is a listening session regarding the global synod which began in 2021. Our conversation will provide an opportunity for parishioners to learn more about the work of this global gathering – by reading from a few of the Synod documents, listening, and sharing their own thoughts and reflections regarding the topics of the Synod. The title of the synod is “Enlarge the Space of Your Tent”.
Everyone is invited to hear and learn more about this work in our global Church and the ways it impacts our daily lived experiences as Catholics.
Light refreshments will be served, but feel free to bring your own lunch if you need heavier fare over the lunch hour.
