St. Margaret of Scotland will celebrate Back to School Sunday for the 2024-25 school year on August 11th. 

All students, especially our St. Margaret of Scotland School children, and their families are invited to 10 AM Mass with their school backpacks for the annual Blessing of the Backpacks in anticipation of the new school year. 

This special 10 AM Mass is the official kick-off for Back To School Sunday and launch of the new school year.

Immediately following Mass, the Back To School Open House/Packet Day will be starting over on the school campus at 11:00am, so that our students and parents can drop off supplies, see their classrooms, and start to get into school rhythm. The Open House is being combined this year with Packet Day, which is a change from years past. Parents will receive a small batch of paperwork for signature – most of the details are handled electronically these days. And most excitingly, all of the students find out who their home room teachers are and which classrooms their schoolmates are in. The Open House ends at 1:00pm.

The PTA is also sponsoring its annual Back To School Social that afternoon on the School Parking Lot.

All parishioners are welcome to join for any and all of these activities.
