We are incredibly blown away by the generosity shown to St. Margaret of Scotland yesterday during #iGiveCatholic on GivingTuesday.
Because of donors like you, we were able to raise over $8100 (130% of our goal amount) to purchase NEW CHAIRS for the Church Hall. That means we have enough to buy the chairs needed, plus the racks to store them on!! Way to go! Your donations have a direct impact on the hub of our parish life – providing more comfortable, safer, and more adaptable seating for things like our weekly coffee & donut fellowship, ministry meetings, school retreats, musical performances, etc. Nearly every parishioner and school family will benefit at some point from this wonderful addition to the hall.

And lastly, we were also thrilled to find out that SMOS has been awarded the $500 Social Media Buzz cash prize for the best use of #iGiveCatholic on a Facebook, X, or Instagram post yesterday! (The $500 is included in the total above.) This is the second year in a row we won this award – and the third year we were awarded prizes for our marketing efforts. They said our “As Seen On TV” video was super creative and a clear winner! Kudos to Ruth Pera, Rheagan Reynolds, and Craig Scanlon for their creative talents in putting together this fun video.
