Sponsored by the Immigration Team
Part of the SMOS Living Justice Ministries
The Gospel of Jesus calls us to participate in the mission of cultivating communion in diversity. Taking this to heart, Pope Francis invites us to celebrate the World Day of Migrants & Refugees 2023 with the theme “Free to Choose Whether to Migrate or Stay.”
To honor the rich contributions of migrants to our Church, St. Pius V Parish community invites you to join the celebration of the annual Migration Mass at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 1. This multicultural, multilingual Mass will be followed by a potluck feast featuring the dishes from the nations of origin of our parishioners. Please bring a dish representing your background to share. Everyone is invited to wear the traditional dress of their heritage.
