As I looked forward to beginning this school year with you and began learning about this wonderful community, it became clear that you stand strong in our mission that St. Margaret of Scotland School is a “diverse, urban, vibrant, and inclusive Catholic community.”  As I continued to discern a meaningful theme for teachers, students and families to travel forward in this year, it became clear that a lyric from “A Rightful Place” by Steve Angrisano fits perfectly:  

Let us Build Your Kingdom in Truth and Grace,
So that all might know they have a Rightful Place.  

This theme is part of our daily morning prayer and is the core from where we begin – that each soul in our realm of influence knows how loved they are by a God who created them and that while our paths cross in this intersection of time and space, we will journey together in faith and academics toward Him and each other.
