As Mr. Holley mentioned in his Principal’s Message this week, we’re continuing to put our plans together for SMOS Open House 2024. Open House is an opportunity for families who are interested in having their students attend St. Margaret of Scotland to tour the school, learn more about our community, and register for the next school year. This year, it’ll be held on Sunday, January 28 from 11am-2pm – and we need your assistance! Here are three ways you can help us out:
- We’d love to see all of our school families and parishioners there that day – so please, plan to join us! Open House is a great way to celebrate our SMOS Community and everything we love about St. Margaret’s School. We’ll have coffee and donuts available (so no need to stop in the Church Hall after Mass that day) – and it’s the perfect way to kick-off our Catholic Schools Week festivities.
- We’ll have lots of other visitors on hand, checking out the school and starting the registration process to bring their children to St. Margaret’s for next year. Please go out of your way to welcome these potential new families – and feel free to talk with them about SMOS and your wonderful experience at our School. And if chit-chat is not your thing, please consider signing up to volunteer to lead a tour along with one of our middle school students – you definitely don’t need to be an expert on all things SMOS to be able to do this (we provide lots of talking-points). - And lastly, please help spread the word about our Open House, and if so inclined, encourage your friends and family to attend. We have it posted on our website and social media accounts – but the best advertising we can get is to have our families post it to their profiles as well. Don’t be shy – you can share the image above, send them to our Facebook Event page, or use the flyer below to print or email to anyone interested. Word of mouth is always the best – and we thank you in advance for the shout-out.
