Please join us for the annual SMOS Day of Service – sponsored by the PTA Facilities Committee! School families and Parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
We are excited for this day of community and grateful for the opportunity to give back to our Parish and School. We have a wide variety of projects appealing to families of all different skill levels. We will once again wrap up the day with a social gathering on the parking lot to celebrate our contributions with food trucks and camaraderie.
Projects will include initial steps to relocating Dragon’s Grove to the Lawrence side of school, various landscape upgrades, outdoor painting, general schoolyard clean up, interior organization and cleaning. There will be specific opportunities to help out our wonderful teachers – including building and painting shelves and hanging cabinets. We will also have an outreach component dedicated towards Operation Food Search – which will include assembling meal kits for families in need.
The day will kick off at 9AM – but we understand schedules are hectic so volunteers are welcome to come at any time you are available.
As a special addition – we are arranging a mini day care in the gym for a portion of the day – so those of you with littles can still help out! Please sign up at the link below!
