Here’s the information for the Back To School Nights scheduled for the 2024-2025 school year.
Although these meetings are geared for parents (and only one per family need attend) – you’re of course always welcome to bring your children should the need arise due to childcare, etc., but the students do not need to attend these. (If you do bring your children, probably a good idea to plan to bring something for them to do with themselves during the presentation, so they’re not bored.) The goal with these sessions is to give parents an idea of the curriculum, goals, and expectations for their students for each respective classroom.
Wednesday, August 21, 2023 – Grades 6-8
All meetings will take place in the Science Lab in the Purcell Middle School Building.
Schedule:
- 6th Grade Parents – 7:00-7:35 pm
- 7th Grade Parents – 7:35-8:10 pm
- 8th Grade Parents – 8:10-8:45 pm *
*Note that the eighth-grade session may go a little later. Mr. Holley will be giving a presentation on the high school application process.
Thursday, August 24, 2023 – Grades 1-5
This night will consist of three 35-minute sessions (you should plan to attend one session per student). Mr. Holley will transition sessions over the PA system.
Schedule:
- Session 1 – 7:00-7:35 pm
- Session 2 – 7:35-8:10 pm
- Session 3 – 8:10-8:45 pm
