Drop-Off Safety On Castleman

One of our kind neighbors on Castleman has alerted us to a safety concern that happens particularly at drop-off that we wanted parents to be aware of – given the time of year, the sun has become so blindingly bright when facing west on Castleman (when residents are leaving for work in the morning), that it has become more difficult to see the children when driving up the street.  Normally, it’s not an issue with kids on bikes in the street, but the neighbors are reporting that it has become hard to see children when they bike in the street against the flow of traffic.  Parents should be aware – and possibly mention an extra level of caution to their students.  We obviously want to avoid an accident happening, and it’s an easy solution to make the children aware, and possibly have them avoid the street in the morning.  The neighbors have vowed to be extra vigilant as well.  Thank you!
