Registration for the Fall 2024 session for the after-school SMOS Chess Club for 2nd – 8th grade is now open! Sessions will meet once a week in SMOS (Purcell Hall – Middle School building) and will be taught by a member of the St. Louis Chess Club.
Please note the 2nd session for 2nd & 3rd graders on Tuesdays from 4pm – 5pm. This was added for the large number of kids who attend aftercare. There are limited days we have instructors available, so if your child is able to attend that session, please sign up for this option. We are limited to 16 kids in each of the Tuesday sessions and 20 in the Monday (4th & 5th) and Friday (6th – 8th) sessions.
Registration deadline is Sunday, September 15th.
A follow-up email will be sent within a couple of weeks confirming your child’s spot, weekday assignment, and payment information. If all spots are full, your child will be added to a waitlist.
In order to be compliant with Protecting God’s Children, we require at least one parent volunteer to attend each session. A sign-up sheet will be sent out once registration is complete.
