Join Us For The SMOS Walk-A-Thon!

We warmly invite all families to experience the excitement of everyone’s favorite event at St. Margaret’s: the annual SMOS Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, October 19, from 8 AM to 1 PM at Tower Grove Park!  This fun-filled community event is a great way to meet fellow SMOS families while helping us raise funds for our school.  Enjoy walking, food, and friendly competition as students complete a ½ mile loop and collect pledges.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, support our school, and create lasting memories. We can’t wait to see you there!

Who Should Come: All SMOS families are encouraged to attend! Bring your kids, friends, and family to join the fun.

• When & Where: Saturday, October 19, from 8 AM to 1 PM at Tower Grove Park, Old Playground Pavilion. Come when you can, stay as long as you want!
• How to Register: Simply show up on the day of the event; all SMOS students Pre-K to 8 are already pre-registered!  Alumni are welcome too!
• How to Collect Pledges: Students can ask for pledges per mile walked or a flat donation. Reach out to family and friends for support! Pledges do not have to be completed before the event; just come!  More details on how to actually submit your pledges via WeShare or in-person will sent out closer to the date.
• What to Bring: Wear comfy shoes to walk (parents, too, for walking with kids and friends!). BYO blanket or chairs to enjoy the day; coffee and water bottles encouraged. 
• What Else: There’s food, too! Every walker gets a ticket for food. Additional refreshments are available for purchase, with all dollars raised going toward our $20K Walkathon goal. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic and your own refreshments.
• Volunteer to Help: Parent volunteers are the heart of all fundraising and events at SMOS, so please sign up below for a time slot to assist us in coordinating a wonderful Walkathon.
• Why Attend: Enjoy a fun fall day of walking and community spirit while helping raise funds for our school!
