The children will celebrate Halloween at School on Tuesday, October 29. Thank you to STUCO leaders Mrs. Kara Peterson and Mrs. Karen Rasure for guiding our students in planning the HalloweenFest this year. All classes will participate in the planned festivities at a designated time, and have their parties at a different time that morning. Some activities include pumpkin bowling, human tic tac toe, and fishing!
Students may wear a Halloween costume that day. Here are the guidelines: no weapons; only safe shoes for recess or PE; if the costume requires wearing a mask, then they can only wear it outside at HalloweenFest or during the class party; limited face paint, regular makeup ok; choose an appropriate theme for school; costumes should be respectful toward all races, religions, and cultures. Please note that costumes must be modest (and mindful of the weather!). No spaghetti straps will be allowed. The length of the costume must be appropriate for a school setting – parents, please help guide your children in this area. We reserve the right to provide students with clothes from Maggie’s Closet if the costume they wear is too short or inappropriate in another way.
