This Advent, St. Margaret of Scotland School is partnering with our St. Vincent de Paul Society here in the parish to collect money for their Christmas Outreach program. All funds raised will help those right here in our neighborhood and community. The St. Vincent de Paul Society helps people with rent and utility assistance, as well as with purchasing furniture like beds.
The cost of one bed to provide for one of our neighbors in need is $250. The idea of not having a bed is something that is very tangible to the children, so the School is focusing on raising money for these beds. Therefore, each grade level has the challenge goal of raising $250. Any grade level that raises that amount (or more!) will be able to have a Christmas-themed dress down day on Friday, December 20.
To donate any amount, just click the link below or send in cash or checks with your children to give to their teachers. The payment link will allow you to divide out your donations to multiple classrooms for each of your children. No amount is too small and thank you in advance for your generosity this holiday season!
