Mass In The Grass + Parish & School Picnic
As part of St. Margaret of Scotland’s 125th Anniversary year, all SMOS Parishioners and School Families are invited to celebrate Mass outdoors and join us for an afternoon picnic! The Parish & School Picnic is a tradition at St. Margaret of Scotland, and we are excited to bring this fun addition – a Mass out in the park – to this annual event.

Labor Day 2024
Mass on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, will be at 8:00am. All are welcome as we pray together for all workers in our nation. The Parish & School offices are closed for the Labor Day holiday weekend.
PLEASE NOTE – Due to the Labor Day holiday, deadline for submitting articles for the weekend of 9/7-9/8 is Thursday, August 29 by 2:00pm.

Gun Sense: For the Common Good
The St. Margaret of Scotland Living Justice Ministry has assembled a Parish task force to work on Gun Sense: For the Common Good. This faith-based initiative will address the issues of gun violence in our neighborhoods and our City, State, and Country – both from a systemic and an advocacy standpoint.

Pastor's Corner
Fr. John Rogers Vien has served as Pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland since 2021. He has been a priest in the Archdiocese of St. Louis for over 30 years.
Fr. John writes a weekly article in the Parish bulletin called “A New Week”, in which he highlights various things going on around the Parish, focuses attention on a social justice or ecumenical topic, and challenges all of us to become better disciples of Christ in our daily lives.
Besides presiding at Mass or around the Church and Rectory, you will most likely find Fr. John out walking the neighborhood with his dog, Axel.
