The mission of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Cub Scouting is open to boys (K thru 5) and now girls (K thru 2). Cubs explore the outdoors, make friends, and develop a love of learning. Scouts BSA (ages 11-17) offers the traditional Scouting experience where boys enjoy outdoor adventures, develop a love of service and grow in leadership.
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouting is organized into “dens” for each grade level. Dens generally meet 2-3 times per month. The Cub Scout Pack (all dens combined) comes together throughout the year to enjoy activities such as Family Campouts, the Pinewood Derby and the Blue & Gold Picnic.
Scouts BSA
The Scouts BSA Troop is a youth-led program with adult leaders serving as advisors. The Troop meets weekly on Mondays. Activities include multiple camping, hiking and other outdoor adventures throughout the year including a week-long summer camp.
