Fourth and fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in an after-school Math Club run by parent volunteers.
The culmination of the club is a competition which SMOS students participate in each year – the MCTM Mathleague Elementary Math Competition. The competition is hosted at a different school campus each year and features over 80 students from over a dozen St. Louis area schools competing in the math meet.
