Marriage

The Sacrament of Matrimony (Marriage) is a covenant that mirrors the mutual commitment between God and his people.

Catholics believe the wedding couple confers the Sacrament of Marriage on each other. But the Sacrament of Marriage is not static. The vows that are exchanged are seeds planted in the spiritual lives of the couple. Consider Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed.  In a similar way,  the couple nurture, tend and grow these sacramental seeds through their relationship with each other and family life and, along the way, they reveal the Kingdom of God.
