Welcome to the St. Margaret of Scotland Parent Teacher Association (PTA)! Did you know that you are a member of the PTA? It’s true! Every parent at our school is automatically a member. Our objective is to encourage communication among parents, teachers, and administrators, to improve our children’s education and to promote a strong Christian community. We are here to help and encourage you to get involved!
PTA Meetings
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from August-May. All PTA meetings are open for any parent to attend. Meetings begin at 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria. Check the school calendar for further details!

Standing Committees
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion provides ongoing formation programs in our mission values for all students, faculty, and staff, and families at St. Margaret of Scotland School.
Outreach committee
The Outreach Committee focuses on ensuring that all families are welcomed at our school.
Room Parents
Room parents assist the teachers with various activities, including class parties.
Special Projects Committee
Coordinates extra events and projects throughout the year to support PTA efforts.

Dine Out Events
Dine Out Events are fantastic opportunities for the SMOS community to take a night off from cooking and support local eateries while raising funds to support our teachers and other vital programs and initiatives for our school.
Dragon Library
The SMOS Library is run by parent and parish volunteers. Each class has the opportunity to visit the library each week, facilitating a further love of reading.
Facilities Committee
The Facilities Committee assists with special maintenance and landscaping projects.
Fine arts Committee
The Fine Arts Committee provides support to the SMOS art, music, and theatre programs.
Maggie's closet
Maggie’s Closet is St. Margaret of Scotland’s in-house used uniform shop.
Trivia Night
The annual Trivia Night is a PTA fundraiser that supports different initiatives at St. Margaret’s School each year.
