At St. Margaret of Scotland Parish School, our primary grades are a place where curiosity takes root, confidence grows, and children discover the joy of learning in a faith-filled community. Students in grades 1–3 learn and grow in St. Joseph Hall, while students in grades 4–5 continue their elementary journey on the second floor of Faith Hall.

Grounded in our Catholic foundation, instruction builds strong skills in religion, communication arts, mathematics, science, and social studies while nurturing creativity, collaboration, and a love of discovery. Teachers meet students where they are, providing engaging instruction and meaningful opportunities to think critically, solve problems, ask questions, and grow as independent learners.

In grades 4 and 5, students begin preparing for the increased independence and responsibility of middle school. Each grade level is supported by two teachers, and students change classrooms for different areas of study. This transition helps children build organization, flexibility, independence, and confidence as they become accustomed to learning from more than one teacher. Through prayer, service, shared traditions, and daily classroom life, students learn that their gifts are meant to be developed and shared with others.
