Our dedicated and qualified faculty have a knack of leaving a positive and lasting impression on their students. All full-time faculty members are degreed educators. Many teachers have completed advanced degree programs.
Foremost, however, among the educational requirements for any SMOS faculty or staff member is the love of teaching and guiding children. The entire school community is devoted to the healthy development of each child’s mind, body, and spirit.
To maintain and increase educational excellence, formal staff meetings are held monthly. Likewise, our teachers participate in high quality, ongoing, comprehensive professional development program, such as: training seminars, workshops, retreats, professional reading, study groups and a variety of other educational programs and opportunities. The National Non-public School State Accrediting Association has commended the St. Margaret of Scotland faculty for its dedication to professional development.
