The duties of an Altar Server are varied, but their primary responsibility is to assist the Priest during the weekly Eucharistic Liturgies (Sunday Mass).  Altar Servers may also assist during weddings, funerals, and other special liturgies.

Altar Servers go through a training program to learn about their role and to gain a deeper knowledge of the Eucharist and Mass.
