Eucharistic exposition is an ancient practice of the Church. Its purpose is to draw us more deeply into the mystery of Christ’s presence in the Holy Eucharist.
Every Thursday in the St. Vincent de Paul Chapel (enter off 39th Street) from 7:00am-3:00pm.
Come sit for quiet prayer in front of our Lord – whether you have 10 minutes or an hour. Praying in front of the Eucharist is a long tradition in our faith, and allows us a physical closeness with Christ that we do not often have the opportunity for. You do not need to have received First Communion (or even be baptized) to pray in this way.
If you would like to attend Adoration but feel nervous because you have never gone before, reach out to our Faith Formation Coordinator, Ruth Pera! She is happy to accompany you and answer questions about this special form of prayer.
Volunteers for adoration are always welcome. Please consider offering a half hour or an hour of your time to pray before the Blessed Sacrament. For more information about the Eucharistic Adoration ministry, please see the link below.
