Formed under the SMOS Living Justice Ministry, the goal is to create a united voice by partnering with fellow Archdiocesan parishes, other religious congregations, and faith-based organizations, local government and social service agencies to raise awareness of gun-violence as a public-health crisis and replace the cycle of violence with a culture of care and safety in our neighborhoods.

• To create a united voice by partnering with fellow Archdiocesan parishes, other religious congregations and faith-based organizations to reduce gun-violence and the subsequent destruction of human life in St. Louis.
• To advocate through local and federal government for a change to laws that allow a culture of violence.
• To pray: in mourning with those who have lost family members and friends due to gun-violence; for those who are the first to arrive at the scene of gun-violent deaths; for those health-care workers who labor tirelessly to save the lives due to violence.

Together in one voice, we can say #ENOUGH to this senseless gun violence which plagues our City, our neighborhoods, and our schools.
