We continue with our prayer, fasting, and giving for the Season of Lent. Here are the activities planned for this second full week.

Lenten Compline

Spiritual music, reflection, and prayer – led by our SMOS Music Ministry. Music begins at 7:30pm, prayer begins at 8pm.

Stations of the Cross – Led by LJM Gun Sense

All are invited to an Archdiocesan Day of Prayer and Reflection on Friday, March 6 at 7PM in Church. The Archdiocese of St. Louis Task Force on Gun Violence Prevention has prepared a special Stations of the Cross honoring victims and survivors of gun violence from the past year. Hosted by our Gun Sense: For the Common Good team, this Lenten prayer invites us to grow in compassion, stand in solidarity, and pray together for peace in our neighborhoods and our city.

Men’s Lent Night

Men of the parish—join us for Men’s Lent Night: an evening of faith, food, and fellowship. Optional Adoration in the SVDP Chapel from 4:15–4:45 pm, followed by speakers and discussion in the Church at 5:00 pm. Then we’ll head outside for food and conversation. The main dish is covered—bring a side, a beverage (extra to share if you’d like), and a lawn chair. Free to attend; donations welcome. All are invited!

Enjoy a tasty meatless meal and support a local Cub Scout Pack flipping pancakes right before your eyes! Join us Friday, March 6, 5:30–7:00 PM in the St. Margaret of Scotland Church Basement. $10 per person or $40 per family for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sides—pay via Parish WeShare or cash at the door.
