Each week, we will be highlighting the amazing and wonderful things that are happening in our classrooms and grade levels at St. Margaret of Scotland School. We are very proud of the work our teachers do with our students and are amazed by what happens at SMOS. Our goal is to share more about the hidden gem that is St. Margaret’s.

This past week in Ms. Hoover’s First Grade, they wrote captions for our animal research project! Each student selected an animal and will be creating a research book throughout the trimester. They learned about what a caption consists of, then each student drafted one to write for their book!

And in Ms. Clark’s classroom, they are working on composing (creating) shapes using smaller shapes. They are working on how many different ways they can make a hexagon using trapezoids, rhombuses, and triangles.
