After a bit of reworking and simplifying, we have a newly redesigned volunteer sign-up available for recess help! Thanks to everyone who has already committed to this effort – and special thanks to Krista Kutz for putting together our new form, and doing so much of the legwork on this one.
As Mr. Holley and Mrs. Villmer mentioned in our previous communications, our main focus is covering lunchtime recess – the busiest time on the blacktop. That’s why you won’t see morning recess on there, only shifts from 11:55am to 1:10pm. If you can’t stay the full 75 minutes, no problem – just leave a comment when you sign up. Ideally, we’ll have two volunteers per day over lunch recess. Our new site makes it easier to stay connected, with automatic reminders and the option to request a sub if you need one.
