This week we celebrated Ash Wednesday as a school and parish community. It was so wonderful to see all of the children at Mass – even our preschoolers! We signed ourselves with ashes to help us remember the purpose of this season. We humble ourselves and recognize that we always have room to grow, especially in the areas of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. This week a calendar was sent home with each family containing ideas for how to live out these three ideas throughout the season of Lent. Let us pray for a fruitful Lent for everyone in our school and parish community!

One of the ways we are going to pray together as a school during Lent is by praying the Stations of the Cross together. Please feel free to join us for Stations at church on Friday, March 1 and Friday, March 15 at 2:00pm. All are invited to come and see our 6th graders as they bring us a living Stations of the Cross on Friday, March 22. More details for that day to come!
