We are officially entering our last week of the school year.  We have so much to be thankful for as we finish up the 2025/2026 school year.

This week, I would like to highlight our eighth-grade students as they begin their last week of school at St. Margaret of Scotland.

May is full of so many wonderful events: field day, May Crowning, eighth-grade celebrations, Field Day, and so much more.  I ask that you keep the school community in your prayers as we work towards the end of the school year.

This week, I ask that you pray in a special way for our second-grade students who will be participating in their first communion on May 3rd.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this year’s Lenten Service Project at School. Also, welcome to our new principal, Dr. Angie Thomas!

This past week, our seventh-grade students received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please join me in congratulating them and their Catechists for all their hard work.  We continue to pray for them and their faith journeys.

Happy Easter!  I have been proud of our students this Lent as they participated in prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

Happy Palm Sunday! This week, we will only be at school from Monday to Wednesday, then we will begin our Easter Break.

Next week, St. Margaret of Scotland School will observe Spring Break. Pray for safe travels. Additionally, donations of cereal are requested for the parish Lenten project supporting the Wellston Center, which has a need for breakfast items.

St. Margaret of Scotland will be expanding our learning lab next year in an effort not only support students from South City Catholic Academy, but also current students who are in need of extra interventions.

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School will once again be supporting our parish Lenten service project by collecting breakfast cereal for the Wellston Center.

Patrick Holley recently announced to the school community that this school year will be his last as Principal of St. Margaret of Scotland.

This past weekend, the community came together for our annual trivia night.  The event raised about $14,000 for the school.

We are working on the times that we can provide tours and admissions paperwork for interested families.  If you know a family that is interested in enrolling their children at St. Margaret of Scotland, please have them reach out to the school office.

Today marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, a time when we celebrate what makes Catholic Schools so special.
