Weekly News From St. Margaret of Scotland School

~ Recently, many members of our School and Parish community have reached out to me regarding the school’s response to possible contact with immigration agencies.  Fortunately, we received guidance from the Archdiocese and are formulating a plan in the very small chance that this would impact St. Margaret of Scotland. We are aware of our Constitutional rights as a private Catholic institution and our priority will always be the safety and well-being of our students.  

Many in the community have also inquired how they can become involved with the immigration ministry.  St. Margaret of Scotland has robust programs based on Catholic social teaching. There is more information about those Living Justice Ministries and suggestions about how to get involved on our website.  We pledge to continue working together with our parish ministries in this area. 

Throughout the school year, we present an article in the bulletin each week providing updates from St. Margaret’s School, written by a member of our school staff.
