St. Margaret of Scotland is delighted to share that music teacher Mrs. Emily Chrostoski has been selected to participate in Extra Credit Choral, a special performance opportunity with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Through this unique program, Mrs. Chrostoski will rehearse and perform alongside SLSO musicians and members of the IN UNISON Chorus and St. Louis Symphony Chorus, under the direction of conductors Erin Freeman and Kevin McBeth.
The concert is free and open to the public, with complimentary tickets for the 6 p.m. performance available here and through the link below. The St. Margaret of Scotland community is encouraged to join Mrs. Chrostoski at Powell Hall to celebrate her participation and support her performance.
The benefits of music education are numerous and well documented. Extra Credit Choral at Powell Hall provides a meaningful opportunity to recognize and celebrate the educators who inspire their students’ dedication, perseverance, and achievement through learning to sing and perform as part of an ensemble.
St. Margaret of Scotland is proud to celebrate Mrs. Chrostoski and the important role she plays in nurturing a love of music among SMOS students. Come out to Powell Hall on November 1 and cheer her on!
