SMOS Field Day 2026 will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026. This is a half-day, so all grades will participate in the morning, starting at 8:15am and ending at 11:45am.
Field Day is a fun-filled event where students take part in various games and activities that promote teamwork, physical fitness, and school spirit. This year, all students from kindergarten through 8th grade will be participating with their Faith Families – you might recall, these are the small, mixed-grade groups that encourage community and connection across age levels. Pre-school will be holding its own version for its students (more details on that forthcoming from the Pre-K teachers). It’s a day of laughter, friendly competition, and celebration for the entire school!
Students should wear sneakers and their SMOS class-colored t-shirt, which they received last Fall from the PTA. If they can’t find that one, if it no longer fits, or if it’s lost in the laundry with those other five missing socks – any SMOS shirt will do. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen before school and to bring a water bottle labeled with the student’s name.
