St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church invites parishioners and neighbors to a special Welcome Neighbor STL Supper Club Dinner, supporting immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis through cultural exchange and community partnership.
In celebration of International Refugee Day, the evening will feature a traditional Afghan dinner prepared by local families who will share their culinary traditions, skills, and culture with guests. These suppers provide an opportunity to build community while helping families gain greater independence and confidence as they establish their lives here in the United States.
The menu will include Afghan specialties such as Kabuli Polaw, Ashak, Bolani, Gosh E-Fil, and Mantu. Traditional arts and crafts may also be available for purchase during the evening (cash only).
The dinner will take place in the Parish Hall at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, located at 3864 Flad Ave, on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Guests should enter the hall from the street entrance off of 39th Street.
Tickets are $40 for adults, with a $20 children’s plate option available. Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged.
