Parents of Young Children at St. Margaret of Scotland are kicking off their 2026–2027 year!
The Parents of Young Children ministry invites parents and their children to gather for an evening of friendship, food, music, and community. The group will be joining the Lafayette Park Concert Series, with music beginning at 6:00 PM—a perfect backdrop for families to relax, connect, and enjoy time together.
The group will gather in the field behind the George Washington statue, with plenty of room for young children to run, play, and be themselves. Food will be provided, and families are welcome to bring a side or snack to share.
Families should bring:
- A picnic blanket or chairs
- A beverage of their choice
- The kids!
Whether they are new to St. Margaret’s or have been part of the community for years, parents of young children are invited to meet one another, build friendships, and begin a new year centered on friendship, service, and community.
