Adult Volunteer Opportunity with Scouts BSA (Boy Scout) Troop 110
Troop 110 is in need of a Troop Treasurer – Come help ensure the continuation of an exciting and impactful youth program in our community!
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Scoutmaster and Troop Committee Chair to set the annual troop budget and track monthly revenue and expenses.
- Process monthly reimbursement requests and deposits.
- Receive the monthly bank reports and reconcile them with the troop ledger.
- Provide a standard monthly report to the Troop Committee.
- Anticipated time required: 2-4 hours/month.
Requirements:
- Must register as an adult volunteer with Scouting America (BSA) – including youth protection training & background check.
- Must also register with the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program – including training & background check.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge is a plus – but not required.
- No previous Scouting experience is required nor do you need to have a Scout in the Troop – only a desire to share your time and talent for the benefit of our youth!
