This summer, our parish youth in grades 9–12 are invited to attend One Bread One Cup, a Catholic liturgical leadership conference held at the beautiful St. Meinrad Archabbey. This immersive experience helps teens deepen their faith through prayer, community life, and hands-on formation in the liturgy of the Church. Students will stay in air-conditioned dorms, share meals in community, and participate fully in the prayerful rhythm of Abbey life.
Each student will choose a liturgical formation track to study throughout the week. Tracks include: Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion; Prayer in the Life of the Body of Christ; Master of Ceremonies, Server, and Sacristan; Liturgical Arts; Chant; Cantor Development; Instrumental Music; Proclamation of the Word; Preaching the Liturgy of the Hours; and Stewardship and Hospitality. We are especially excited that Orin Johnson will serve as the catechist for Instrumental Music.
