WALK WITH OUR IMMIGRANT NEIGHBORS
What does it mean to truly accompany our immigrant neighbors—and why does it matter?
St. Margaret of Scotland’s Living Justice Ministries invites parishioners and community members to an Immigrant Accompaniment Program Volunteer Training on Thursday, September 17, from 7:00–8:30 PM – presented by the Immigrant & Refugee Ministry.
Together, participants will explore:
- What accompaniment means—and why it is so important?
- How we can walk in loving solidarity with our immigrant neighbors, especially during times of fear and anxiety?
- How we can get involved and put our faith into action?
Come learn with us, ask questions, and discover how you can be part of a community that chooses to walk with our immigrant neighbors—not just stand beside them.
