As many of you may know, our 2nd Grade teacher Ms. Heffernan is getting married next weekend (October 12) – so the 2nd and 3rd grade classes through her a SURPRISE bridal shower on Tuesday. The children were great about keeping quiet – and keeping a secret – Ms. H. had no idea!
Ms. Heffernan’s fiancé, Joe Wagner, was on-hand to celebrate as well. The students played a game against Mr. Wagner to see who knew Ms. Heffernan better, as well as a bridal bingo – and cupcakes and other treats were enjoyed by all. Everyone had a great time – and it’s something the students will remember for a long time. And as for Ms. Heffernan, well, she was moved to tears more than once!
