The SMOS Girl Scout troops will be collecting personal hygiene items for April Showers before and after the Masses on April 25th and 26th. The items will go directly to Isaiah 58 Ministries to support those in need in our community. This is taking place in lieu of door-to-door collections in the neighborhood this year. For St. Margaret’s School families – on Friday April 24, 2026, students may dress down for the day in exchange for a personal hygiene donation.
The April Showers Program is the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s largest annual community service program in support of the community at large. Personal care items include: adult incontinence, deodorant, diapers/baby care, facial tissue, feminine hygiene products, first aid supplies, mouthwash, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.
