Heading into may!
Spring is a busy time of year for prayer and sacraments! We congratulate the seventh-grade students who already received the sacrament of Confirmation on April 9th. And we are looking forward to a joyful celebration of First Communion with our second graders this Sunday, May 3rd, at Noon. The children have been preparing and practicing, and all are excited for this next step of Christian Initiation.
We are also looking forward to celebrating our May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin’s statue before 8:15 AM Mass this Wednesday, May 6th. It is a wonderful way for our students to celebrate and meditate on the importance of Mary, the mother of Jesus, as we begin the month of May, traditionally dedicated to devotion to the Virgin Mary.
As we look toward the end of this school year, we are blessed with many opportunities to reflect, pray, and celebrate our faith as a school community at St. Margaret of Scotland.
Easter blessings and joy!
