A Cereal-ous Lenten Mission
Our school community has taken time for prayer and reflection during the season of Lent. We have celebrated communal reconciliation and have gathered for Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent. We will celebrate the Living Stations of the Cross presented by our sixth grade on the morning of Friday, March 27th, from 8:30-10:00am. All are welcome to join us. (Please note this is a time change from what was originally announced.)
Also, when we return from Spring Break, we will be focusing on our Lenten commitment to service of the poor. Each child is asked to bring a box of cereal to donate to our parish Lenten service project at the St. Augustine Wellston Center food pantry. Our collection runs the week of March 23-27 (which is the week immediately following Spring Break), so kindly remember to bring in your cereal donations when classes resume after the break. May all of us deepen our commitment to fasting, prayer, and almsgiving this Lent as we prepare our hearts and our community for a celebration of Easter joy.
